This IAA mini-series will feature three modules. Registration takes place individually for each module on the IAA website:
ORSA – The Core Tool of Risk-Based Supervision. In this session, we will discuss why the ORSA is such a useful tool for the effective management of insurers, both from the perspective of the firm’s senior management and Board, as well as for regulators assessing the overall health of a firm and their respective insurance industry.
- Focus on Asia - Pacific Tuesday January 12, 2021
- Focus on Caribbean, Latin America and Africa Thursday, February 4, 2021
The recordings from the ORSA sessions are now available:
Using Actuarial Reports – Getting the Added Value. In this session, we will de-mystify the supervisory task of using actuarial reports even for those without an actuarial background. Actuaries fulfil key roles within insurers. Their work and subsequent reports are valuable to various stakeholders, including supervisors.

Proportionate Risk Assessment – The IAA Risk Tool in Action. Risk-based financial management and supervision approaches require individuals and organisations to identify their key risks before they can be managed or supervised. This session introduces a practical risk assessment process and associated tool, developed by the IAA's Inclusive Insurance Working Group.
